Live Dance, Theatre & Music

Pure stage magic, unfolding live.

This is where my photographer brain and my artist brain meet.

As a dance artist myself, I have a particular eye for movement, presence, and the way bodies communicate on stage. I know how much can happen in a gesture, a shift of weight, a look, or a body moving through light. I know that the best performance photographs aren’t simply about showing what happened on stage—they’re about finding the image that carries something of the performance itself.

I photograph dance, theatre, and live music, from full-scale theatre productions and concerts to intimate performances in galleries, studios, warehouses, outdoor spaces, and other alternative venues.

Finding the moment

Live performance doesn’t come with second takes. I work quickly and intuitively, anticipating movement and watching for the moments when everything comes together: a powerful gesture, a fleeting expression, a striking composition, or the unexpected connection between performers.

I pay close attention to stage lighting, movement, atmosphere, and the relationship between performers and their space, while staying unobtrusive so the performance can unfold naturally.

Whether you need documentation for your archive or images for promotion, press, festivals, grants, social media, or future projects, I create photographs that bring the energy of the live experience into a single frame.
